1. Motor Pump Operator (MPO) Stretches
Target: Gastrocnemius, soleus, Achilles tendon
These stretches can also be done with a chair or wall.
Straight-leg MPO Stretch
Position: Place your hands on the bumper of the rig (or wall) and stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart, one foot forward and the other foot back; both feet face forward. Bend your front knee and move your hips forward, keeping your back leg straight and your back heel flat on the ground.
Bent-leg MPO Stretch
Position: Place your hands on the bumper of the rig (or wall) and stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart, one foot forward and the other foot back; both feet face forward. Bend both knees slightly, moving your hips forward while keeping your back heel flat on the ground.
